You only teach Ruby and JavaScript. How can I be confident that I'll be able to learn other languages?

Understanding how we learn other languages besides the ones we actively teach.

We don’t actively teach the syntax of these languages, developers very much learn how to code in Ruby and JavaScript independently - our learning materials provide some guidance and lots of challenges to help them learn. However, both Ruby and JavaScript are tools we are using to help developers learn how to learn. For example, instead of focussing on learning the specifics of writing code in Ruby, we focus on techniques and processes developers can use to learn any language they choose.

Many developers at Makers start learning their third language in their fifth week of the course.
