What qualification will I receive?
Learn what qualification you receive after completing a Makers apprenticeship, including apprenticeship levels and how the final End-Point Assessment works.
If you complete a Makers apprenticeship, you will receive a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification aligned to the UK apprenticeship framework.
Depending on the programme, this may be a Level 4, Level 6 or Level 7 qualification. These levels reflect the complexity of the role and the skills being developed during the programme.
Apprenticeships are designed with employers and industry standards to ensure learners develop the practical skills needed to succeed in their role.
How apprenticeships are assessed
During the programme you will complete a combination of structured learning, practical work and assessments linked to your role.
At the end of the apprenticeship, you will complete an End-Point Assessment (EPA). This final assessment confirms that you can perform the role confidently and meet the required industry standard.
What the qualification means
Apprenticeship qualifications are recognised across the UK and demonstrate that you have developed the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for a professional role in the technology sector.
Many learners continue progressing in their careers after completing the programme, often moving into more senior engineering, data or technology roles.
