What reporting and visibility do employers receive during a programme?

Understand what reporting and progress visibility employers receive during a Makers apprenticeship programme.

Makers works closely with employers throughout the apprenticeship to ensure learners are progressing and that the programme continues to align with organisational goals.

Employers receive regular updates on learner progress and have opportunities to review development throughout the programme.

Progress reviews

Regular progress reviews take place during the apprenticeship to track how learners are developing.

These reviews typically involve:

  • The learner

  • Their line manager

  • A Makers representative

Progress reviews provide an opportunity to discuss achievements, development goals and how learning is being applied in the workplace.

Monitoring learner progress

Employers receive visibility into how learners are progressing through the programme.

This may include:

  • Completion of learning milestones

  • Development of key skills

  • Preparation for the End-Point Assessment

This helps ensure learners remain on track throughout the apprenticeship.

Supporting organisational outcomes

Reporting and reviews also help ensure the programme continues to support the organisation’s wider goals.

Regular discussions with employers allow Makers to understand how the programme is impacting teams and where additional support may be helpful.
