To take part in the Makers bootcamp, learners need access to a reliable computer and internet connection that supports online learning and software development work.

Most of the tools used during the programme are installed directly on the learner’s computer.

Laptop requirements

Learners should have a modern laptop capable of running development tools and programming environments used during the course.

A laptop should ideally have:

• a recent operating system (macOS, Windows or Linux)

• sufficient memory to run development tools smoothly

• enough storage to install required software and course materials

Full technical setup guidance is provided before the programme begins.

Internet connection
