How does hiring work at Makers?

For our bootcamp course, job hunting and skills workshops happen toward the end of the course Our careers team will meet with you and give you tips and advice on writing your CV and how to put together a portfolio.

Our Partnerships team will also help introduce you to employers who specifically want to hire Makers. We call this our Hiring Partner Network.

After students apply for roles, our Selection Coaches help to create shortlists and pass them onto employers. We try to match students with the best role for them and the organisation based on tech stack, company size and culture. The selection team are always happy to share feedback on your application and our process.

If you are selected to interview, you’ll receive all the information you need from our team. There’s lots of support to help you with those applications and we particularly look out for those of you with English as a second language, dyslexia or anything else that might make extra support necessary during the process.
