When entering the tech industry, your focus shouldn't be on if your personality fits the industry, it's more about understanding your personality, your strengths, weaknesses, learning style and how to interact with others. For a team to be successful it takes different personalities and perspective to slot together and build a full team, so don't think you have to be a certain personality to be successful at Makers, or in the tech industry.
We teach Emotional Intelligence skills to all students as a core part of our curriculum to help you build skills such as self awareness, growth mindset and how to give and receive feedback. We believe that this, as well as you being your authentic self will set you up to thrive at Makers and beyond.
